My brother, (who is in construction) recently handed me a box of old Graphis magazines, (circa 1962-1965) which had been thrown away during a recent school demolition. He saw the covers and thought I might appreciate them.
Indeed I do. I am slowly thumbing through them with great delight licking my lips all the way.
These two images are taken from a double page spread from Graphis 109, a feature on illustrator Francis Deransart.
Graphic wit with an 'angel delight' lightness of touch. Delicious!
